My Skin Saviour- DR Spot by Soap and Glory

Recently my skin has been bad, really bad. I have had lots of break outs over my forehead and cheeks, consisting mainly of white heads and bumps (TMI, I know). I had been just hoping the problem would clear up but it hadn't got any better after a couple of weeks, so I decided I needed to try to find something to sort it out. My mum kindly bought the Soap and Glory DR Spot for me, at first I was sceptical as although I knew their hot cloth cleanser was good, I knew they weren't known for their skin care. I have been trying DR Spot out for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be working!

You can buy DR Spot from boots for £8 which I think is a good price for something that works! Also soap and glory are often on some sort of money off deal. I have used this gel on my spotty areas at night time and by the morning it has worked its magic, I am not sure how this would work on blackheads though as I don't suffer from them. I have checked the ingredients and it has salicylic and lactic acids which are known for spot fighting and pore vanishing. Something cool about this is that it sinks into the skin and dries clear, meaning you can wear it over makeup without looking like you have a blob of cream on your face.

The only issue with this is that I makes your skin more photosensitive whilst you are using it and for a week after. This sounds scary but as long as you wear an SPF and keep out of strong sun for a week after using it, you should be all fine. Some thing I love about this product is the packaging, It is in a metal tube which means that you can get very little bit out and despite being full with product it is small enough to fit in a makeup bag or hand bag easily. I love this and will definitely get it again when it runs out.
