Christmassy Covent Garden & Harrods

So last weekend I went to London with my dad and my brother. We went to Covent Garden, Otherwise known as my favourite place so far in London, and we also went to Harrods very briefly just to have a look around at all the Christmassy stuff. :)

I actually love going on the train. I know if you have to do it all the time it would get really boring, but for me it's just once in a while so I find it quite fun (I know your all now thinking that I'm a weirdo but let's just deal with it). Any way I persuaded my Dad to get the slightly earlier train so that we were there quicker and in the end it worked out great, as it was apparently one of the busiest weekends to be in London. I just wore some jeans, a jumper, my parka and some snuggly boots because it is starting to get a lot colder and I am always cold so I thought it would be best to be cosy.

Selfie time... just for anyone wondering for makeup I have on Soap and Glory supercat eyeliner, Benefit they're real mascara and a slick of Laura Mercier lip gloss in shade- I'm to lazy to get up and find my lip gloss, sorryyy. When we arrived at Paddington we hopped on the tube and went to Covent garden. I wish I managed to get a picture now but there was loads of people (uni/college students, I think) dressed up as Santa running around London. They were every where: On the tube (singing), In Tesco when I went to buy some water and all over the streets! It was quite funny and very festive to watch.

On to Covent garden... I always have loved Covent garden ever since my first trip there. It is especially amazing at Christmas. Half of the reason of going to London was to look at Christmassy things, and the other half was to get Christmas presents. So after choosing my present from Dad from M.A.C and Lush, I went to help my Dad get my grandma a present from The Body Shop. I won't say exactly what it was, just on the off chance she sees this, but I will say that the lady that helped us was so, so lovely.

There is always something going on in Covent garden and in the centre of it all is the big tree. It is enormous but somehow still manages to look really cute. All the decorations are really
cute and tasteful. I have lost the picture, but they also had giant red baubles suspended in the air over the restaurants which was so cool. I couldn't help thinking what would happen if they fell though...

Can you see my lush bag. Henry (my brother) and I got a bit hungry so Dad got us a cute gingerbread tree and he got himself some mulled wine from the stall in the third photo. Things like ginger bread and mulled wine just smell like Christmas.
sorry about my dads head ;)
We then quickly got the tube to Harrods because I hate to admit it but I had only been in once before. It was chaos.
We could barely move it was so busy so although it was lovely in there and really Christmassy. So we went in grabbed some little snacks from the food hall and popped straight out the other side. I can't deal with feeling trapped in by people or small spaces it makes me really scared and anxious so I was quite glad to leave. I got a cheesy Focaccia bread type thing and it was Incredible. It kind of made me laugh that when we paid they asked us if we had a Harrods card :).

Omg, handbags, I managed to pass them, by telling myself that one day they will be mine. We also went to an old fashioned sweet shop and I got some orange sherbets and pear drops, my favourite.

So I hoped you liked having a little look into my weekend. Where's your favourite place in London?
Teah xx
