hi guys!
oooh I'm having a bloggy day today aren't I. I like to stick to a skin care routine, that my skin likes, and for ages I haven't used a toner. If I'm honest I didn't really know how it would benefit my skin or even what it was for. I know, idiot.
When I was in lush shopping for my Christmas presents I decided to ask for this and I am so glad I did. I have tried lush skincare in the form of facemasks before and loved them so I took a dip into the world of toner and I am so glad I did.
I like to use this in the evening after I have taken off my make up with bioderma. I just spritz a bit all over my face and then wipe it away with some cotton wool pads. I like to think of it as a deeper clean that gets rid of any makeup that my bioderma missed. It feels lovely and fresh and I personally love the slightly tea tree smell as its not too strong!
I first used this when I was having a bit of a breakout across my forehead and no lie when I woke up in the morning the breakout had cleared up AMAZINGLY. I have been using it for about a month and a bit now and it still is working wonders. I have skin with extreme opposites: really dry around my nose and chin, really oily across my forehead and normal on my cheeks so finding something that works for my skin can be tricky, but this ticks all the boxes.
Being LUSH it's cruelty free and the packaging is recycled which is always a plus in my books.
LUSH says "Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial; it will help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and will also help to stimulate the skin. Use this anytime of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup." It isn't too expensive at £3.95 for a small bottle (100g) and £7.50 for the large (250g).
Just in case you need any more proof of how much I like this, I have already bought a new large bottle ready for when I run out! Have you tried any LUSH skincare, did you like it?
Teah xx
